Why The Hell Do People Defend Israel?

First I see a lot of Americans defending Israel's execution of at least 9 peacekeepers and the attempted murder of several others. Now people are calling Helen Thomas a bigot? The most evil and bigoted people live in Israel. Israel is the only country that actively practices genocide by preventing food and medicine from coming to the Gaza strip. Those Europeans "Jews" have no right to be in Palestine in the first place. How can anybody justify what the Europeans did by killing Innocent people and stealing their land and than forcing them to live in poverty. Verbal abuse and an apology

i have enjoyed the battles like any gladiator but i realize that my behaviour on and off the interenet is often seen as verbally abusive.

just because someone dissappoints me is not a reason to attack them or their character.

so to all those.... beks, dinah, sammieswife comes to mind i apologize.

have you ever heard a witness say something like "why do apostates have to keep talking about the wts/jw faith?

why don't they just go on with their lives?

if they've found something better, why don't they just focus on that instead of us?

Have you ever heard a Witness say something like "why do apostates have to keep talking about the WTS/JW faith? Why don't they just go on with their lives? If they've found something better, why don't they just focus on that instead of us?" I've heard such statements and I've seen such statements written by purported JWs on this and other websites.
I'm guilty of using this logic myself in one of my earlier threads. At the time I was under the influence of having just attended a 3-day convention. I understand now how ridiculous that argument is. I still however don't understand people who are an atheist but constantly bash the Bible.

so how is it that the WTS say that porneia includes adultery??
Porneia does not include adultery, but according to the scriptures porneia and adultery are equally bad.

Matthew 19:9 I say to YOU that whoever divorces his wife, except on the ground of fornication(porneia), and marries another commits adultery(moichao).”
"Moichao" always mean "adultery" and is unrelated to the word "porneia"(unclean/unnatural sex acts).

i've been watching the new dvd and it is a bull fest about russell.

i haven't even gotten half way and they already excluded one very important bit of information.

you'll recall that russell "lost" his faith and "turning away from church creeds and searching for truth, russell examined some leading oriental religions, only to find these unsatisfying".

Porneia doesn't mean pre-marital sex, it means unclean or unatural sex acts such as beastiality, orgies, anal, incest, pedophilia, etc. If porneia met pre-marital sex than the following verse wouldn't make sense.

Obviously a person can't have pre-marital sex if they're already married and adultery is listed as seperate from fornication.
